AMHA PROCUREMENT AND CONTRACTS
Welcome to the home page for AMHA’s Procurement and Contracts
Thank you for your interest in doing business with the Allen Metropolitan Housing Authority (AMHA). Our mission is to create a thriving community by offering quality, affordable housing and pathways to self-sufficiency to those we serve. One of the ways we accomplish that is by continuously seeking vendors and contractors who can provide supplies and services to help us transform our community.
Our agency now uses and eProcurement Marketplace for all competitive solicitations. There will be no charges to your business to use this Marketplace to download RFP documents or to submit responses to our agency.

It is important for all respondents to have a clear understanding of all specifications and scope of work requirements that certain solicitations may have. When this is the case pre-proposal conferences will be held and attendance at one of the conferences for that specific solicitation is strongly recommended. During these conferences instructions will be given on how to place bids, bid security requirements, Section 3 requirements, Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wages and a review of the work required.
If there are questions regarding any solicitation they must be submitted on the eProcurement website by the specified deadline. All questions received will be answered in the form of an addendum and the addendum will be posted on the eProcurement website.
AMHA’s management team is responsible for overseeing the agency’s procurement-related activities and will promote full and open competition for all contracts to the maximum extent possible. Adequate safeguards will be included to insure that all contracts are awarded with complete fairness to all participants.
Vendors are not required to prequalify before they bid.
