MAINTENANCE REQUESTS

Maintenance and Emergency Repairs

AMHA will repair normal wear and tear items in your unit at no cost. If the damage is caused by a resident, charges may apply.

EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE

Emergencies are problems that pose an immediate threat to life, health, safety, or property, or relate to fire safety.

For emergencies, call 419-236-9126 any time.

Examples of emergencies include (but are not limited to):

  • Lock-outs (note: this will result in a resident charge)

  • No power (not due to a storm or unpaid bill)

  • Outside door that won’t lock

  • Broken or missing windows

  • Sewer backup

  • Overflowing or clogged toilet (if it’s the only toilet in the unit)

  • No heat (when it’s 40°F or below)

  • Flood

  • Fire

  • No running water

Important: If only children are home, staff will not enter the unit unless it is an emergency.

This form is for Routine Maintenance requests only. For after hour emergencies, call

419-236-9126.

Is it okay for maintenance to enter your home if your not present? (If a minor is the only household member present, maintenance will not enter)

This maintenance request will be sent to the Maintenance Department. Please allow 5 business days before following up on this maintenance request. (All requests will be processed in order of urgency
