OPENING - Maintenance Technician
A position is available for a full-time Maintenance Technician.
The Maintenance Technician performs other related duties as required in addition to the following: Performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled building and grounds maintenance activities for the Allen Metropolitan Housing Authority.

Qualifications for the position are: Any combination of training and work experience which indicates possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below. An example of acceptable qualifications for this position:
Completion of secondary education (high school or GED), plus two (2) or more years experience in the skilled maintenance of building and grounds, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
**New hires to this position will receive a $1500 bonus upon satisfactory completion of 90 days on the job. Paid holidays, paid vacation time after 6 months, paid sick time after 3 months and various other benefits.**

OPENING - Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinator
One full-time position is available for Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinator. Interested and qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
The Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinator assists with the administration of the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program in accordance with HUD guidelines; conducts outreach to ensure Section 8 Program participants are aware of the FSS program; determines eligibility and executes contracts of participation; and performs other related duties as required.
Other essential functions include, in part, obtains data; completes verification and calculations; assists with the development of Individual Training and Services Plans (ITSPs) for each participating family; tracks the FSS monetary incentive to each family.
Qualifications for the position are: Any combination of training and work experience which indicates possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below. An example of acceptable qualifications for this position:
Associates degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other related discipline from an accredited college/university, plus two (2) or more years’ experience providing direct services to clients, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
