The Board of Commissioners of the Allen Metropolitan Housing Authority (AMHA) , pursuant to the Department of Housing and Urban Development regulations, announce it will hold a public hearing at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 4, 2008, to receive public comments on the agencys Annual Plan.
The public hearing will be held at the AMHA offices located at 600 S. Main St., Lima, Ohio. Copies of the Annual Plan will be available for viewing at the Lima Public Library and the AMHA office.

Director effective
July 6, 2006
. Daniel is
currently teaching communications at
Bluffton
University
. He had
also been involved in Allen Lima Leadership's Points

Applications for the Section 8 are currently
CLOSED until further notice.
Public Housing applications for 3 & 4 bedroom units,
along with applications for the Furl Williams senior
apartments will still be taken. Applications may be
picked up at our office at 600 S. Main Street, Lima,
Ohio during normal business hours of Monday - Friday
8am - 5pm.
You are welcome to call us periodically to check the
status of your application. If you are currently on
the list, you may come in and update your
information at any time.
Landlord Trainings
Mandatory Landlord Training is Sponsored by the
Lima/Allen Housing Consortium, Allen Metropolitan
Housing Authority, the City of Lima, Lima Police
Department, and the Allen County Sheriff's
Department.
It is a local
requirement that all landlords or property managers
participating in the Section 8 Housing Choice
Voucher Program attend the PROFITABLE PROPERTY
MANAGEMENT COURSE. This twelve-hour course is
offered several times each year at convenient times.

Part I: Monday, April 30th - 9am - 5pm
Part II: Tuesday, May 1st - 6pm - 9pm
Part I: Tuesday, September 11th - 6pm - 9pm
Part I: Wednesday, September 12th - 6pm - 9pm
Part II: Thursday September 13th - 6pm - 9pm
Part I: Saturday, November 17th - 9am - 5pm
Part II: Monday, November 19th - 6pm - 9pm
All the above classes will be held at the Duffy
Lodge at Camp Woodhaven, 1870 W. Robb Ave.
